Below are images of the layout of Dlog when you first open the app. The 3 main areas are Left panel with Calendar, Main painel with Home page highlighted; and Right panel with Dlog Discuss.

Calendar

Browse, events, reminders, Dlogs, and preview Dlogs. If you add a photo to a Dlog it appears on the Calendar.

Photos

Browse recent photos here. Click on a photo to add it to an open Dlog. You can only add one photo per Dlog.

Journal/Project Entry

Here is where you will spend most of your time on Dlog writing, unless you spend a lot of time in the Project Manager, where you can also write.

Reminders

For convenient reference, all reminder lists from your Apple Reminders app will be shown here. You can add reminders, edit and change dates here as well.

Journals

Journal Browser

The journals tab of your Dlog app is where you can browse past journal entries; you can sort by topic.

Statistics

In addition there is a statistics tab where you view the frequency of your journal entries by topic.

Projects

Project Manager

A project is like a journal but with a reminder list. In the projects tab is the project manager. Here you can browse projects you have created.

Sub Projects

Each project can have multiple sub projects (also with their own unique reminder lists) that can be only created in the Project Manager.

Wide Screen Projects

In the Project Manager you can stretch out and view multiple subprojects if you are on a Mac or iPad and each project comes with its own reminder list.

Dlog Discuss

ChatGPT4o Mini

Dlog Discuss is our AI powered by ChatGPT4o Mini an enterprise level API that does not train on your data.

Select Journal or Project

Dlog Discuss allows you to select Journals or Projects and discuss those with the Dlog AI. You always have control over what is sent to the AI.

Chat with Dlog

The AI will give you an overview of your journal entries or projects (and their reminders) and you will be able to Chat with Dlog to go deeper.

Useful Prompts

Dlog Discuss also comes with curated prompts that you can use at anytime such as getting help with journaling, or getting advice on project management.

Profile

Your profile contains information about you which is useful for the AI, such as your goals and values, the AI is made aware of these when a new Discuss is launched or a chat is launched, providing it with context.

Token Balance

Also in your profile is where your Token Balance is located, which indicates how much of your monthly balance is left before it resets.
